Dreams

disillusioned, disproportionate things
enslaved and demeaned
drunkards who barely speak
let alone fulfill their part, or
complete the mission from the start
flying somewhere worlds apart
where love and light
live side by side
and Im relearning
a barren pool of little surprise
inconspicuously tried
reveling in our darkest times
with shady trees hanging above
whirlpools of wishful eyes
hopelessly Divine
delicate to otherworldly design
further lost and furthermore realigned
a drop in the ocean of endless time
transformative heights
held together madly
by such a maddening device
“I’m not okay, and you’re just fine”
dreams don’t ever die
baby don’t believe
their lies
