DIY Ginger-Turmeric Sleep Tea

  • 1 big mug of water
  • 1-inch piece (or smaller) fresh ginger root
  • 1/3 of a lemon
  • 1/3 (or less) teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • honey (optional)

First peel the ginger and cut it into thin slices. Next bring the water to a boil and once it is boiling, add the ginger, turmeric and the juiced lemon. Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes, whisking occasionally.
